I have hit the half-way mark on the drwing labor for making this project happen, that means there are 78 of these wonderful precious (yep, I love em) moons all packaged up in the studio.  It took right at three weeks to get here - and my consciousness feels strong from the daily practice of looking and marking.  The rote nature of the work (3-7 moons a day) feels rhythmic, good, knowing what to work on each day makes it easy to find that deft touch.  Sigh, there is nothing like drawing to bring it back to center...very much looking forward to arranging them as a single piece and moving onto the memorization and story-telling aspect of the project.  I cycle through associating these moons with the folk, femme, mythic, and scientifically illuminated.
