Functional Memory: the learning curve.
This drawing was done by a particularly astute student of mine at KIDSCLUB, the hogwan I worked at in Seoul during 20007-2008.  He was five years old.
I miss being a teacher, but looking forward to being a student again.  I have been accepted to the MFA program (multi-disciplinary {referred to a "schizophrenic"-Sanford Biggers, Micheal Marshall}program) at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

Interesting work, kinda thinking like me with the athletics.

  1. Paleolithic — shamanic — non-authoritarian — hunter/gatherer
  2. Neolithic — polytheistic — authoritarian — agricultural
  3. Earth-centered Cosmos — theistic — monarchial/theocratic (hierarchical) — urban
  4. Sun-centered Cosmos — monotheistic — divine right of kings — colonialism & imperialism
  5. Mechanistic universe — deist or atheist — democracy, capitalism, communism — industrial/technological
  6. Relativistic universe — Modernism — cybernocacy — post-industrial (electronic)
  7. Quantum universe . . .

Dreamt bout Japan, lantern people stretching apart like Bellmer Dolls over mountains of cherry branches crawling with paper dragons.   Strange twining and smelling sweet.   Don't self-deprecate.
